My Story

Hi! I'm Daniel, a graphic designer born and raised on the beautiful island of Maui. My design journey began in high school, where I got my start creating t-shirts and flyers for various school clubs and sports teams.

While at college in the heart of New York City, I majored in marketing at Pace University. However, I couldn't resist the creative pull of digital design, so I dove into some additional coursework that allowed me to explore this passion further.

During this time, I had two transformative internships. The first was with a small app startup, called Knicks OmniFan, where I honed my design skills and gained invaluable hands-on experience. Later, I joined the talented team at PufCreativ, an award-winning cannabis marketing agency, where I was able to work my way onto the team and become the designer I am today.

My design style tends to lean towards the surreal and psychedelic realm. I often attempt to merge both the natural aestetitcs of the world I grew up in, and the sopistication of the urban environment I came to love. That said, I try not to confine myself to a single style and am always eager to explore what new and better ideas are out there.

In my toolkit, I'm proficient in various Adobe Suite programs, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, and Premiere. My foundation is in graphic design, but I have recently become fond of making those graphics move using mostly 2D and some 3D animation techniques.
